Stewart and Stewart, A Medical Corporation DBA Stewart Medical Group was established by Dr. James R. Stewart and his brother Dr. John T. Stewart in 1981. Both were born and raised in Alhambra, and took over the practice from two brothers — Dr. O.L. Putler and Dr. S.D. Putler — who had served as their own childhood family physicians.
Stewart Medical Group has grown into one of the larger private practices in the San Gabriel Valley, serving patients of all ages. Our professional staff includes three full-time physicians, two physician assistants, and a supportive team of 25 dedicated employees.
We are a family business. We work with family, and our employees feel like family. That same philosophy extends to every patient under our care.
