Bio:
Dr. James Stewart grew up in San Gabriel in a large family. At a very early age Dr. James knew he wanted to be a physician and began his journey by entering the University of Southern California for pre-med. He graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to Graduate School at the University of California, Davis to complete his studies in Behavioral Science. Dr. James soon traveled to Manila, Philippines to attend one of the most prestigious schools of Medicine in Southern Asia, the University of Santo Tomas. Dr. James and his brother Dr. John opened Stewart Medical Group in 1981.

He graduated in 1977 and did a three year residency in Family Medicine. He has been practicing Family Medicine with his brother, Dr. James, at the same office since 1981.

Dr. Anita Mercado attended the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Dr. Mercado continued her medical education at the University of Santo Thomas and graduated as a doctor of Medicine in 1986. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Henry Ford Hospital-Wayne State University in 1997. She is also a California Licensed Physical Therapist. She is currently active with various Medical Research and enjoys working with the geriatric population.

Dr. Hovsepian has been practicing for over 30 years and was voted by his peers to be among the top 400 doctors in the San Gabriel Valley by Pasadena Magazine. He was the chairman of cardiology at four different hospitals and a chief of staff. He completed a medicine residency at East Tennessee State University, a cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville and undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley.

Dr. She has been trained in both Western and Oriental medical science and has over 30 years practice experience. He holds a license of Acupuncture in California and certificate from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He specializes in pain management and the treatment of paralysis related to stroke. He also treats personal injury and other types of injuries due to travel, automobile accidents, sports and work.

Dick Chuang, MS, PA-C, graduated with a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University in 2005 and received his Bachelor's of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine in 2001. He has worked over 13 years as a Physician Assistant in Urgent Care, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He also attends Generations Church in Temple City and leads worship there.
